Savoca farm is situated in a inportant centre of cultural and touristic crossroads. In this part of Enna province there is plenty of choice of various historic and natural beauties.

Archeological sites
Piazza Armerina is with Siracusa, one of more ancient centre of classic culture: here we can find Villa Romana of Casale with its great, wonderful mosaics. Excavations are far 5 km about from town and they show us an imperial villa of III–V century, inside della quale mitological scene of caccia are illustrated through the precious tesseras of mosaics. Nearby there is another archeological site which give us testimony the presence of an ancient sicilian-greek town, Morgantina.
Another interesting site is the Realmese necropolis (X - VI century B.C.) and the near Malpasso necropolis (dates back to 2000 B.C.)

They are all of medieval origin and they are evidence of several dominations of the past in Sicily.

Towns of historic interests
Historical buildings of Piazza Armerina show the important signs of Norman architecture. We recommend to visit: the Castle Aragonese, built by Martino I Kink of Sicily, the cathedral (1600), the churchs of San Rocco and San Giovanni Evangelista and, not so far from town, the ancient Priorate of Sant'Andrea, built by a grandson of Ruggero I in 1096. The main interesting places of Enna are the castle of Lombardia and the Tower of Federico but we can't underestimate town centre for its monuments and for its extraordinary position on the top of a mountain.
